CANAJOHARIE – Emotional Outlet and Creative Imaging Photograpjy have collaborated to produce a Back to School Fashion Look Book Video featuring back to school fashions inspired by Japanese Street Style. To celebrate and share the video, a screening party will be held at Emotional Outlet on September 14, 2017 from 4pm – 6pm. Admission is free but space is limited. Guests can call Michele at 518 224-8886 to reserve a spot.

The video to be shown was created by Kim Walton of Creative Imaging Photography. Creative Imaging Photography is a unique studio offering traditional photography services, as well as innovatively staged photoshoots featuring green screen technology, costumes, props and creative posing techniques. Creative Imaging Photography has been serving clients of all ages and genders since 2006 and is conveniently located on Route 20 between Sharon Hill and Carlisle.

The venue for the party, Emotional Outlet, is a consignment shop in the village of Canajoharie. Owner Michele McGlone said she enjoys collaborating with fashion and beauty creatives and had a blast working on this project. “The models we recruited for the photo shoot were so much fun to work with and they had a great time with it. This event is going to be a fun opportunity to celebrate the new school year with middle and high schoolers. “

The hair styles for the video were created by Jennifer Gallo Lee, the manager of the Cutting Crew Salon in Palatine Bridge. Japanese Street fashion features very big and very girly hairstyles. Jennifer used false hair, ribbons and bows to create editorial worthy hairstyles for each of the models. Cutting Crew Salons provide high quality, low-priced family haircare with convenient hours. The company successfully operates over 80 salons in 6 states.

The fashion stylist was Stephanie Gies. Stephanie is a fashion lover. She’s done Steam Punk windows for Emotional Outlet in the past. Stephanie made the one of kind jewelry and hair accessories that were used on the models in the video. Some of her pieces will be on display and available for purchase on the night of the party.

Attendees will receive special offers, gift bags and 15% off any purchase they make from Emotional Outlet during the event. Refreshments will be served.
